By 2026 the NAIRR Pilot had expanded to 14 federal agencies and 28 nongovernmental partners. NAIRR-Open: AI resources for open research. NAIRR-Secure (co-led by NIH and DOE): privacy- and security-preserving resources, requires documented data-governance practices.
